Keynsham Orchestra

Welcome to the Keynsham Orchestra website. Yes, Keynsham does has its very own orchestra! We welcome musicians from the Keynsham area, including Bristol and Bath.

Our leader is Andrew Rees, and our musical director & conductor is Frank O'Connor. Sadly however, Frank will be leaving us after the summer concert as he is moving away from the area. He has done much for the orchestra leading us into new areas, as was evidenced by our recent November concert! As well, his presence has led to a welcome growth in orchestra numbers. He will be greatly missed.

Following a lengthy selection process we are delighted to be able to anounce that Richard Jones has been appointed as the next Musical Director of the Orchestra. He will take up the post in September.

We had six candidates audition with us and we were very impressed with the way they all presented themselves. We would like to thank them all for taking an interest in the Orchestra and auditioning with us in such a professional manner.

We hope to see you at our next concert.
