Aims

Keynsham Orchestra has existed since the 1960s to foster an appreciation of classical music in the local area. The orchestra aims to:

1. Provide opportunities for keen amateur musicians to participate in playing a wide variety of orchestral music.
2. Improve performance standards by rehearsing in a relaxed atmosphere which strives to combine hard work, fun and friendship.
3. Contribute to musical activities in the local area by performing public concerts and collaborating with a variety of local music ensembles.
4. Promote social activities and participate in new musical experiences both locally and further afield.
